Heidi’s Design Process

First contact and initial meeting

When you first contact me, we'll have a chat about your home over the phone - and you can ask me questions to check I'm the right designer for your project (and vice versa).  We can then schedule an in-home consultation.

This in-home consultation is currently $195 (plus gst) for up to 90 minutes. It is customised to your project. Usually, this consultation also allows me to understand the scope of the job so I can provide you with a proposal and fee for the interior design work required.

Thank you Heidi for your considered and professional input into our renovation and extension project.

You were able to interpret my vague descriptions, endless images and love of colour and florals so well, and mould my eclectic style into something I love that feels like home.

We now have a colourful yet muted, calm and sophisticated palette throughout the house with beautiful wallpaper, co-ordinating flooring and gorgeous blinds and curtains. One of my favourite views is to sit in the living room surrounded by the glorious laurel green walls and glimpse through the hallway with the new white panelling, subtle sage wallpaper to the bedroom with the dahlia print I loved so much. The colours are seamless and so interesting.

And of course I have to mention the ensuite with the matcha tiles and pink bath… oh and the pink lights in the dining room and kitchen, the hallway panelling, the living room lights that have the most wonderful evening glow to then… and the matt rimu flooring finishes which works perfectly with the carpet you chose… I could go on!
